DevOps

DevOps Lead (Former Employee) - chennai - November 21, 2023

There has been a perception that the DevOps department is imposing pressure on both senior and junior team members to explain their tasks step by step. In addition, the DevOps management acquires knowledge from junior team members and portrays himself as an expert in DevOps technology. This discrepancy has caused confusion among the team. The situation has taken a toll on the team, with one senior architect resigning and others experiencing high levels of stress and pressure. Team members have begun to question the credibility and capabilities of top management. Rumours have circulated within the team that HR and the DevOps management are collaborating to isolate a few senior team members who raised concerns about ongoing issues. As a result, the senior team members are experiencing significant pressure. The DevOps Management introduced a newly joined resource by highlighting his 20+ years of experience and expertise in DevOps technology. However, upon reviewing the new resources LinkedIn profile, team members found it amusing that the Senior resource actually has around 18 years of experience and he is not from a DevOps background. The behaviour of the DevOps management has led to a loss of respect among the team. In summary, it is crucial to carefully consider joining Tiger DevOps, as the work environment may not be conducive to enjoying your work, even if the compensation is competitive
