Self driven
The only thing holding you back in the Army is you and your ability to see where you want to be. It is self driven. It is demanding but it is what you make it

Unit dependent
The tough thing about the military is that your experience will very. I was in 92nd Civil Affairs and my time there was amazing. I had good leadership that cared about my goals and careers.

You get a lot out of it if you put everything into it
It's a different environment with a unique culture. You'll make best friends for life here. It is also a struggle to maintain balance with life outside of work. I have gotten a lot out of my time with the Army, but it definitely isn't a place for everyone.

The Army is what you make of it
If you can consistently be in the right place at the right time in the right uniform, you will find that the military will be a rewarding experience.

You get exactly what you get out of it. Its the military.
It was an honor and a privilege to earn a career in the United States Army. The trust my higher-ups had in me really allowed me to do my job and to do it well.
