No driver support

Absolutely no driver support. You are all by yourself and recieve no support from uber. Week car rental is expensive , plus gas and the rides offered do not pay enough to cover your expenses . When said and done after paying expenses little to no money left to put in your wallet.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company? When the app does not work properly (as designed)! What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Company is a real meritocracy! What is a typical day like for you at the company?I drive and interface with my customers, “one at a time”!

Good way to make money

Driver app is simple to navigate, and it’s easy to get started making money. Work around your own schedule, there are bonus/incentives that are offered occasionally. Earning are straightforward and easy to calculate.

Fun Work

I’ve read through both the really amazing experiences and the really bad horror stories you guys have had throughout your driving careers, and I’d like to know what you think about my situation: I’m a college student with my parents paying for my living and tuition, and have recently gotten an electric luxury car I enjoy driving extremely much. I thought driving for Uber might be a fun way of enjoying my car and also getting some experience doing a service job. If you had a car you really enjoyed driving and no pressure to make a living off driving for Uber, would you do it?

Great.

Freedom of having the ability to set your own schedule. You can make as much or as little as you choose to. Get to meet a lot of interesting people each day.

Nice way to make money

If you need some extra cash uber eats is a good way to do that. The tips are hit or miss but for the most part the customers are friendly. The more you hustle the more money you will make.

Great growth, bad leadership

Lots of challenges and room to grow; but leadership may not always take you in that direction. Really good benefits and compensation and the culture is great until it isn’t.

Boss!

It is great to be your own boss and have a business. I was able to choose when to work and was paid after each shift immediately. Met a lot of interesting people during my time driving.

Get paid daily.

Uber is very deceiving in there promotions. Uber takes more than half of your earnings and in tips. Customer service representatives do not speak good English and transfers while you are talking. Doesn’t give you heads up where you’re dropping a customer off. It’s just been a very horrible experience. Working for Uber.

Miserable company to anarchy management

One of the poorest management you'll ever experienced is in this company. i started to create an account to be part of they journey, they locked my account and are unable to provide proper explanation for doing so. No real manager you can exchange with! I have customer service with nonchalant response to situation, no care about problem, no proper English communication, just a bunch of random people wasting your time. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Great source of income

Great source of side income and if necessary can definitely be a full time job if you’re willing to get up and work the hours. Especially on weekends.

Good

I loved it, you just have to be smart to take good paying orders and not take orders that’s not worth your time or your gas that you are using delivering anything.

Flexible and the freedom is great

I really enjoy driving for Uber. I get to meet passengers from everywhere you can imagine and more often than not everyone is super friendly and just wants you to get them where they need to be. The pay is ok, not amazing. Im a Mom so I need something very flexible and this works out great for me. This is not anywhere near a career job though.
