Excellent job to begin your career in R&D. You get hands on with experimental design and process engineering. Great place to work and have an excellent work life balance.
Pros
Good compensation
Cons
Variable pay is linked to performance of the department that you work in.
Adquirir nuevos conocimientos en cualquier ambiente laboral
Pros
Seguridad y ambiente laboral en equipo
Cons
Un día difícil
Off Role employee beware they will not think once on your condition and situation as you are a Product for them which can be removed terminated anytime
Pros
Employee Engagement & Well being
Unilever India offers exemplary benefits and job security. However, career advancement is bit slower. They promote inclusion and diversity. Management is supportive. It is tough in times of crisis as the management requires you to work overtime.
Loved working for Unilever very well looked after worked hard management is very Friendly Very good pay long hours but plenty of overtime lovely rest rooms & canteen
Pros
Staff Shop
Cons
Long hours
A great place to learn and try out our ideas. Care given by the Organisation for personal well-being is very high. Organisation makes you feel you belong there.
Work Culture is excellent and working hours is flexible. Sometimes, I have felt that management is not open enough in communicating certain things to their employees especially the reasons while rating.
Pros
Flexible Working Hours
World's best FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) company
I have worked in this company for seven years. The company pays a lot of attention to the workers
Employee friendly benefits, Importance to Diversity, work life balance, Individual growth development trainings/tools, Visionary management, are the attributes I can mention about Unilever.
Mediocre paper pushing managers use an army of external consultants to do their work. Very little innovation and progressive thinking. All the news one sees about their culture - and people friendly, growth mindset driven work is just a sham PR exercise. The part of the organization I worked with (internal IT/CIO office) was a petridish of regressive thinking instead of the thought leader that they are supposed to bs
Overall a good company but loads of politics. Good work tends to get overlooked and licking boots becomes the way for promotions. Line managers are busy saving their own backs and wont hesitate to lie and make scapegoats out of their reportees. Restructuring every year without even divulging the returns/benefits reaped out of it before the next one comes in.
Workplace culture is very inclusive and supportive. Irrespective of the background, people here respect talent and are very encouraging. Company has very unique formal and informal mentor culture which helps any new comer to understand the nuances of corporate environment,
Good environment to work and make career and new development projects to work with different software which we can learn . Team members are good to share knowledge
Overall great company but does not have a growth vision for it's employees. There is also lots of beuraucracy.
But a great learning ground for marketing.
Have good experience Handling big Client like HUL,
Monthly completing our task month on month and sending the necessary
reports and details and billing to client
I would recommend this company to all Chemical Engineer freshers , it has a highly professional working environment , good exposure to new technology for R&D work , lot of opportunities , and a great salary package as well !!
When i display my item in gundola
It was hard because people are used to buy any product of unilever at the time its
Theres an stressful day when working at promo
But id like yo neing part of unilever company
My innings with UNILEVER lasted for long 38 years. Its a combination of 3 nos different company :- Lipton , Brookebond & Hindustan Lever.
later it took the final shape as Hindustam Unilever Limited.
Its really a pleasure to work under the umbrella of such a big company it has few divisions and myself had the opportunity to get associate with only two divisions. a) Tea & Beverages b) Main Line ( Soaps / Dets / PP ).
Its a huge learning platform and make employees professionally enriched which have huge market value and as a result , one may go for further employments even after retirement.
Finally I am Lucky enough being previleged employee t& o be a part of UNILEVER, the FMCG giant.
