Productive and fun and learning throughout due to interaction with students and researchers. Culturally very good. management at staff level is not very productive always. Co-workers are good, co-operative. Hardest part of the job is to balance teaching and research simultaneously due to constrain in grants. Most enjoyable part is to stay within academics and research.

Pros

Productive but not remunerative

In present scenario, Calcutta University job is not very attractive as work culture is gradually declining and too much of favoritism and nepotism is there , details of which can not be shared here. So, I am looking for a change
