Extremely employee friendly work culture and policies. Co operative departments and excellent IT infrastructure to enable employees to either work from home or from office.
Employee friendly policies, Good IT Infrastructure
Frequent management changes and job security
Good company to learn Netbackup, Appliances Does not provide certifications of any kind Does not promote employee's to learn latest technologies Product knowledge/expertise does not matter just crack internal interview process and you are promoted (deserving or not) Perks are good, workload is easy and manageable.
Well i worked here for around 2 years and this company was at its best when it was with Symantec but after split the Veritas couldn't manage themselves properly. This results in loss and lot of cost cutting. It's a very good place to learn their new products and growth opportunities are really good. Since it's a product based so yes there are shifts which affects work life balance sometimes. Ambience is good but yes that too changing with cost cutting. There is 0% Job security and higher management people above VPs decides any time to shut down a centre or team. There is some type of politics also going on in support with couple of managers who support their favourite one for promotion. But yes it's going on everywhere.
Learning and growth opportunities
Worked 24/5 with a good set of people Gained good knowledge through the job responsibilities Personal progress of employees was payed attention to Employees had all the help required in the form of sessions, documents, intranet blogs, videos on related concepts Employees could explore into their area of interests through Lynda.com made available over the intranet Getting certified was made easy through a lot of support through the tools available
Good work place, but very hard for people to jump in different teams and change their work space. Overall enjoyable but hope for increment always less according to current market.
frequent tours to team lunch, and team activities.
Frequent changes in management and strategies, flexible hours is a fair lie.
This company has a team of user researchers among which you can practice the best of the research process. The work environment is quite good for a healthy work-life balance. A typical week starts with talking to product stakeholders, understanding their requirements for research and then planning out a research activity, conducting it, then creating a research report and then presenting it to the stakeholders. A typical day includes talking to customers/end users and interviewing them with the help of a pre-designed questionnaire. Then compiling the interview feedback and putting them in a report.
Work like balance, detail oriented work environment
Unclear direction of products
