Great work environment. Challenging jobs. Great benefits - Open-plan office concept - Employees have a strong voice which is listened to by management - Employees are well-taken care - Good medical benefits with dental - Interesting clubs and communities - Work-life balance - Flexible working hours (Upon 6 mths confirmation) - Flexibenefits to be used for other things such as personal insurance/gym and etc - Provide an opportunity to try a new department.
The flexible timings and good package are a couple of the many things that lured me to Verizon. Although I joined as a fresher, I was treated as Professionals from Day 1. There is no practice of addressing senior employees as Sir/Madam.
It feels really motivating to work with a company like Verizon. Each employee is carefully chosen for the roles they work and the challenges faced by the kind of work we do will leave a person with a productive experience. Though, there is a need to learn new technologies in a short period of time, the learning support provided by the organization was immense.
Verizon is a very nice to company to work, i have learnt so many things after joining here. Management and workplace culture is very friendly. They encourage us in learning new things and support people in taking courses and certifications that are required for the changing technology.
In the process of cost cutting and redefining the management in the organization, unnecessary complexities are raised and work life became stressful. latest technologies are not implementing in the products. hence not much technical growth. learning only business of the organization.
Verizon is quite good company to work in specially for girls employee. It has job security and decent work culture. Certainly, its a good company to work in if your ambitions are not too high.
Work life balance and Job security.
Salary, incentives and hikes are low.
