I have lot of talent but company is not focous on that, it’s just want me to work like a technician. If you have any good quality or sill set it’s your wrong disision to join it . Very low salary hike, no growth at all it’s just like deadlock for future.

Objective focused and result oriented.

Employee will have good global exposure and also will have a career growth if the objectives are met every time. Will be encouraged to bring in ideas for development. One need to plan their deliverables to make it on time every time to satisfy the stakeholders.

Culture

Not a good company , local management is very poor. Fire people without a reason. Tools are fantastic, you can self learn everything at your work place.

Not a good move

If you are about to work in office it is really a great place to work. but when you are being sent to site jobs you feel that you have taken the worst decision of your life by choosing such MNC.

Productive and Fun Place

Responsible for procurement of Welded and Machined components  Placing orders, following up of material dispatches with vendors and tracking with the logistics to ensure Just in time delivery and continuous productivity.  Co-ordinated with sourcing team in localization of import components to achieve cost reduction.

its nice

plenty of opportunites to grow. travelled the whole asia pacific to train people on vestas turbine. it really gave opportunity to explore and different cultures. its an eye opener.

they will pay good ..but no job security ..you don't know when you will be asked to go home..! Leadership is untrustable...! good exposure and world class infrastructure

Management gives opportunity to guide and mentor your team. Decision making is supported as far as it contribute towards the growth of the organization. More maturity in systems and process is needed.

Productive and fun-loving.

Have worked in different SAP Modules and had a good team, we shared our strengths and weakness accordingly we worked on it. I have recently shifted to london and I am looking for a job.

Installation and commissioning of WTG & BOP , fun workplace

Project management & people management skill learning . The most enjoyable part of the Job is learning new things every day . It is very hardest to jump from technical to commercial oriented process .

New set up Shared Service Center

It was new set up shared service center and had very wide scope for learning process and developing.opportunity were open and our interest were respected.but it was a bad local management took over the process later made the all disaster.and now the shared service center can be closed at any time .huge layoff happened unfortunately i was a part of it..

Easy life and less stressful

Typical day at vestas is normal but sometimes boring as there seems very less communication and entertainment. Work comes for few weeks a month and rest is self learning. All the logistic and other facility are great compare to any other company in chennai but there is a big danger of job insecurity. Every Quarter employees are getting effected because of poor performance of the company in the competitive market. Management plays important role in each business unit but sometimes seems to be biased with their decision. Human Resources has a strong control in the organization but that becomes like a strong competition between HR and other department. Overall, staying with Vestas can make one survive just on an average 4-5 years.
