Cons-Management needs maturity .Better projects, better work hours required.Overall ok experience, with growth in work.Fresher level better growth. Experienced people may look out in other organisations.Too much of micro-management.Managers lazy, and unaware as to what is happening in the given projects. Not much interaction between client managers and virtusa managers, which gets difficult for technical team working in virtusa.Pros-Cloud training , domain level training provided for all. Also client provided training has been helpful.Working with some of the best in the industry. Fintech projects are best if you work in Virtusa.
Long hours/odd time to work, immatured management
Don’t join this company unless you can handle violent work culture. Managers have no behavioural skills. They don’t even know what work is going on in the team and are very unsupportive. Completely incompetent higher management.
Management is terrible, Unskilled managers, Bad and violent work culture. HR is very biased and won’t address the queries.
Management is only keen on satisfying their customers. Senior management agrees to complete the ask in impossible timelines without consulting with the employees. Later all the works are dumped on the employees. Work Life balance is very hard to keep.
Long hours. No weekend plans can be made.
Good place to work & competitive culture in Support functions. Some changes/attrition in the senior management over the past 2 yrs.
Good organization to work with. Open work culture. Senior Management encourages ideas and innovation. If ideas can be translated into something tangible or good for the client, employees are rewarded. Frequent re-org overt the past 2-3 years and Organization design changes are creating some confusion in associates minds.
Less hierarchy, Open door culture, RAVE portal & Innovation portal to encourage new ideas and innovation from associates
Frequent reorg in past few years, Less investments in Support functions like Presales, Marketing, SMEs etc
Not get good experience * no team cooperation *Management- always ready to point & not giving help at the time of overload * Stressful, lot mocking culture, insecure feel while doing any task
long hrs work, also after office hours, carry work, home.
If you are fedup with your own life, then only join Virtusa. People have no sense of professionalism and knows how to talk with peers If someone using abusive language then it's managers responsibility to stop that guy, but here manager do not bothers. There is huge lobbying or so called gang/group culture.
Even during the Covid 19 situation the management is more bothered about salary cuts, job cuts, change in bench policies , salary revisions . Not a great organisation to work for. Very laid back attitude is seen across various different departments.
Some of the managers are really helpful
