Patients are great, management is awful

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
If you enjoy being micromanaged then this is the place for you. There are cameras with sound so your conversations are never private for “training purposes” but really it’s so they always know what you’re saying. There are some great people on the staff but the turnover is the fastest I’ve ever seen due to management. They seem to only care about money and working you to the bone. If you are understaffed and over worked, they do not care. I would not recommend working here.

Pros

Free weekly adjustments, half off massages

Cons

Over worked, under appreciated, micromanaged, terrible morale

Good place to work, excellent benefits, fantastic doctors

The benefits at Vitality Healthcare are second to none, and the patients and employees are good to work with. The doctors are without a doubt the best in the midwest and know how to work with patients. Management is supportive and patient in teaching you what you need to know.

Favouritism in management

I worked at vitality for a while (now left) but there's an element of who knows who and who's your friends, not necessarily what you know. Starting wage is great, but once you've up-skilled and tried to progress, you get absolutely no where with this company. You apply for another job within the company, but get told you don't have experience in a certian areas, so you try your best to learn more and get involved, to only get told oh no now you need this skill. Its forever changing its rules. Management are horrendous so much for mental health advocates, they cause more stress and anxiety than any job I've been in, I've not been good with my mental health since there.

Pros

End of year party has its perks but thats about it

Cons

Poor management, no progression, disregards any new skills or even gives anyone the chance to improve, even if you do improve your skill levels your pay will stay the same.

Watch what you say.

You are told after you get the job that the general manager is the owners girlfriend. Then to top it off they have cameras all over with sound. Other managers hide behind closed doors and listen to what you are saying. The turn over is so high because once you realize that you are constantly being watched and you have to work late hours all the time it gets old quick. My advice would be just keep looking don’t waste your time.

Experience was awesome

Being part of a startup. Working from ground up to build team... Hardest part of the job was working with insurance. Best part of the job was helping people feel better!!

Not the place for many

There is a high percentage of turnover due to the management. There were many different rules for different people depending on the day of the week or even time of day.

Pros

Half off massages
