WNS was a great company to work at however the only thing that never worked for me was the shifts work up to 10 at night, at the time i had a 3 year old son who needed me at that stage in his life. i do have a solid support structure at home, but i believe when a child is that young they need their mother and not just minimal time with their mother.

Fast paced working

Wns was a very fast paced working experience and they always found new ways of improving customer experience.we were also constantly trained in other fields such as smart technical support and we were taught to put ourselves in the customers shoes which helped greatly in giving great customer service

Relaxed and rewarding company

The company paid wellas we got to choose our hours of work.management did well most of the times. There were opportunities for growth. No medical aid but a good co. To work for

Incompetent management and leadership, low Salary, work environment-laughable

Stressful each day, Monotonous. Log in each day and after breaks. Managers are hawks, watching every move, quick to reprimand, never praises on good deeds or performance. Proposals etc, complaints, fall on deaf ears. Nepotism throughout operations. Appraisal are a joke. Management act like lower level advisors. No benefits, NONE.

my experience at WNS

The work environment was friendly and food affordable. the hardest part of the job having to try and resolve problems from years ago. but it also brought great joy when you managed to have a customer cry over the phone you have finally done the right thing by them.

It was quite an great experience for as I got exposure in the consulting field.

Taking inbound calls to assist vodacom customers with their queries.Learning all necessary information for one to qualify in the consulting field.Team work was quite good for as I prefer to work individual most of the time.

Wns was one of the best companies i worked for

I would highly recommend the company to anyone yes the salary was not that much but it was enough for one to atleast cover the neccessary needs plus the management itself works well wotj the staff ....its a relaxed and peacefull enviroment sometimes there might be pressure like any other company but overrall its a good comoany to work for

Job description

My job description at wns global services would be to assist a customer with their utility bilss for both gas and electricity. The campaign was British Gas. The culture at the work place was based on meeting contractual metrics and KPI's. The culture was with very process driven individuals and therefor they were very strict on meeting company targets. The most enjoyable parts of the job was to get to know the different cultures of the customers that call in on a daily basis and also being part of working in a team of fun individuals.

Working at WNS

I worked on two Campaigns while at WNS. My first campaign was Kalahari.com I loved working with my online customer. Ether on-line or on the phone. I had worked myself to floor-support. I worked my way up. I loved my work. My average day was dealing with managers escalations, distressing of my customers and my team that i was assigned to. I loved working with a team. I never had a problem while, working for the Kalahari campaign. I was transfered to the BGB Campaign where we did customer care duties. The culture from campaign to campaign difference. I loved all the customer still but the vibes at the bgb campaign was old. No new blood to pump up the work environment.

They treat you like a child, they feel superior to you, and treat you and say what they feel like, not much help from seniors either, so unprofessional shot holes.

Great learning opportunity

I had no call centre experience and I learned a lot during my time with WNS. Patience was one of the major things I learned. Their customers come first and they go an extra mile to help n keep them happy.

WNS is a very nice company to work at. They help you grow and manage your time. I loved working there. There are fun thene days, free popcorn every alternative Friday.

Excellent

Everyday entails coming in early at 7 and we start at eight then i interact with clients who had promised to follow up on Login into CRM before staff arrives then we continue with targets Workaholic mode no days off or breaks in between I work throughout I meet targets by 12 pm I receive compliments daily and also am the go to guy

Overall Experience

The overall experience at WNS Global Services, under the campaign of British Gas was a very enjoyable experience and one that I will never forget. It had its ups and downs but most of all the job culture and management staff was amazing as they always had the best interest of the staff in mind.

Fun work place

It is not a badcompany to work for I have been a call can centre agent for seven years. The shift can drain you The people I work with make the day fun.we work well together.
