How To Verify Your Account

Account verification is a one-time step that keeps your company's job postings safe. It confirms your connection to your company so that only authorised users can post jobs on its behalf. Depending on where you are located and your account’s current status, you may see different verification options.

Before your jobs can go live on Indeed, our team reviews your information. Most requests are approved quickly, but sometimes we may ask for more details or documents. Thank you for your patience as we work to protect your company and prevent fraud.

You do not need to follow the steps below if your company's account is already verified. Ask the account administrator to add you as a user instead.

Verifying your account

Getting started

  1. Sign in or create your employer account on Indeed.

  2. Click or tap the red banner at the top of your page.

  3. Choose one of the four verification methods below.

Work email

  • Enter your company's verified domain email to receive a one-time code.

  • A verified domain email matches the company's website domain (for example, yourname@example.com matches example.com).

Call to verify

  • Speak with a member of our account verification team.

Business documents

Upload one of the following:

  • Certificate of Incorporation

  • GST Document

  • Rent Agreement

  • Utility Bill

  • Udyog Aadhar

  • Udhyam Aadhar

What happens next

  • Once you have submitted your verification, our team will review your request.

  • While we aim for a smooth process, we may need additional reviews or documents.
