Full job description

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal & Business Development Executive to support the organization in legal documentation, contract coordination, client handling, and business development activities. The role will involve working closely with management, clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth commercial and legal operations.

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Documentation

  • Prepare, review, maintain, and coordinate basic legal and commercial documents.
  • Draft and coordinate agreements, contracts, NDAs, MoUs, quotations, proposals, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with external legal consultants/advocates whenever required.
  • Maintain records of contracts, agreements, renewals, notices, and other legal documents.
  • Track contract expiry dates, renewals, obligations, and important timelines.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approvals are obtained before execution of agreements.
  • Assist management in identifying and escalating contractual or compliance-related concerns.

Business Development

  • Identify and follow up on potential business opportunities and leads.
  • Handle incoming business enquiries and coordinate with prospective clients.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, site visits, and follow-ups as required.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, commercial offers, and pitch documents.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely responses to client requirements.
  • Maintain and update the business development pipeline and lead database.
  • Support client onboarding and ensure smooth handover to the relevant operational team.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Commercial & Coordination

  • Coordinate negotiations on commercial terms within the approved company framework.
  • Follow up on bookings, renewals, payments, documentation, and other commercial requirements.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Admin, Operations, and Management for closure of business deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of clients, proposals, contracts, and business transactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on leads, conversions, pending proposals, contracts, and business activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate in Law, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in legal coordination, business development, sales, contracts, or commercial operations preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of contracts and business documentation.
  • Strong negotiation, follow-up, and client-handling skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organized, and target-oriented approach.
