Job Description – Resident Engineer (Electrical)

Qualification:

Candidates must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering with 7–8 years of relevant professional experience.
• OR
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 10–15 years of relevant professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day electrical works at the project site and ensure execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Monitor the quality of electrical installations, testing, commissioning, and completion activities.
• Coordinate with the client, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and contractor submissions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, statutory regulations, safety requirements, and quality management procedures.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays or technical issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify measurements, work quantities, and contractor bills as per contractual requirements.
• Conduct inspections, witness testing and commissioning activities, and maintain proper documentation and records.
• Prepare periodic progress reports, site inspection reports, and technical observations.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices at the project site.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve timely project completion.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Engineer-in-Charge related to project execution and supervision.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹192,000.00 per month
