Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to fill the role of Product Engineering Leader. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record, with wide technology and product development experience, demonstrating expertise in driving product engineering initiatives and delivering successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

Lead and oversee the clusters of product engineering function, driving innovation and strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.

2. Technical Leadership:

Own a set of clusters/ modules within the product and act as a primary point of contact as well as subject matter expert in those areas. Experience with front-end technologies. Strong experience with back-end frameworks. Extensive experience in programming languages in Java stack and ability to help teams write maintainable, scalable, and unit-testable code.

3. Product Management:

Work closely with the features/epics provided by the product owners. Ensure the implemented features are unit tested and ready to be integrated into the product.

4. Collaboration and Team Building:

Work with product management and business teams to ideate technology strategy and line up initiatives around the same. Drive design discussions and decisions around building scalable and modular architecture.

5. Innovative solutions:

Stay on top of the software engineering ecosystem, propose and implement new technologies/methodologies as per the business needs.

6. Strong Agile and processes

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in software / computer engineering

2. Proven experience in a similar leadership role

3. Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.

4. Experience with Agile methodology using frameworks like Scrum and Kanban

5. Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns with solid experience in the tech stack: Python, Django, React, CI/CD, MySQL, AWS/GCP/Azure cloud

6. Experience in establishing and maintaining industry-leading engineering practices, processes, and standards.

7. Solid analytical skills with the ability to refine strategic, technical roadmaps and synthesizing to make improvements and recommendation

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹5,500,000.00 per year
