Job Title: Senior IT Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior IT Professional to lead and support our organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and security. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex IT environments while ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure (servers, networks, systems)
• Oversee system installations, configurations, and upgrades
• Ensure network security, data protection, and compliance with IT policies
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues
• Lead IT projects, including system migrations and implementations
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations
• Manage vendor relationships and IT procurement
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior IT staff
• Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 4+ years of relevant IT experience
• Strong knowledge of:
• Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)
• Operating systems (Windows, Linux)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with cybersecurity practices and tools
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and system diagnostics
• Strong understanding of IT service management (ITIL preferred)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as:
• Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)
• Microsoft (Azure Administrator, MCSE)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python)
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools
