The Maintenance In-charge will oversee and manage all maintenance activities within the facility to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with regulations. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, planning and executing maintenance schedules, and ensuring all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Leadership:
  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and training for staff.
  • Maintenance Planning:
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs:
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and failures.
  • Oversee repairs and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.
  • Order necessary materials and manage budget effectively.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct safety audits and training sessions for the maintenance team.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management on maintenance performance.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Diploma in Engineering or ITI, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in maintenance management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software.

Working Conditions:

  • May require occasional overtime and on-call hours.
