We are searching for a relentless, self-driven Senior Sales Officer (SSO) to capture and dominate the high-value Dibrugarh and Tinsukia trade belts. This is a pure revenue-generation and market-creation assignment. With no active pre-existing infrastructure, your mandate is to act as a frontline market pioneer—cold-calling local traders, locking down virgin wholesale stockists, and converting independent retailers into active, recurring buyers from scratch. You will single-handedly launch and scale consumer demand for Bitly hygiene essentials, Tara's breakfast lines, Himalayan Heat multigrain snacks, and Cool It beverages across Upper Assam.

Core Responsibilities & Autonomous Execution

• Frontline Territory Sourcing & Cold-Calling: Thoroughly canvass commercial hubs, local bazaars, and retail streets across Dibrugarh and Tinsukia to map unexploited grocery, chemist, and general merchant counters.
• Stockist & Wholesaler Acquisition: Hunt down and onboard high-credibility local wholesale traders who command strong market sway, convincing them to take on our primary inventory portfolios.
• Zero-to-One Secondary Generation: Pitch directly to hesitant or uninitiated shopkeepers, overcoming initial market entry barriers to secure first-time trial orders and continuous weekly replenishment.
• Self-Authored Beat & Route Planning: Design and execute high-efficiency daily travel routes, ensuring complete retail saturation across urban markets and developing semi-urban feeder routes.
• App-Based Order Logging: Utilize our digital field sales application to log every self-generated order, record store audits, and monitor daily conversion metrics in real time.
• Direct Performance Accountability: Own your primary and secondary sales targets completely, providing straightforward weekly conversion and pipeline metrics straight to leadership.

Candidate Specifications & Qualifications

• Experience Profile: 2 to 5 years of aggressive field sales experience specializing in new territory launch, cold-canvas distribution, or direct retail generation within the FMCG or packaged foods sector.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
• Critical Skills: Tenacious negotiation style, high tolerance for field rejection, strong commercial awareness, and professional fluency in Assamese, English, Bengali, and Hindi.
• Mobility & Logistics: Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license and be fully prepared for extensive, independent daily travel across Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, and surrounding market belts.

Pay: ₹20,955.36 - ₹30,991.92 per month
