IT Storage Solutions Specialist

Work Location: REMOTE

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years experience in Systems, Storage, and cloud technologies.
• Expertise in HPE, IBM, Dell EMC, Hitachi Vantara, NetApp, Cisco UCS, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows, AIX, Solaris, Redhat, VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, AIX LPAR, Solaris LDOM, and Container.
• Strong knowledge of backup solutions like Veritas, Dell EMC Networker/Avamar/PowerProtect, Veeam, etc.
• Good understanding of virtualization and cloud technology.
• Customer service-oriented with strong teamwork skills.

Desired Skills & Certifications:

• MCSE/MCITP, Server, Storage, Backup, AWS Solution Architect Associate, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, VMware certification.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, databases like Oracle DB, MySQL, etc.
• Familiarity with different product licensing schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical pre-sales support for servers, storage, backup, and cloud solutions.
• Engage with customers early in the sales process and gather requirements.
• Prepare solution write-ups, bill of materials, and engage Service Delivery team.
• Conduct technical presentations and clarifications.
• Identify project risks and provide mitigation measures.
• Integrate solutions and conduct transition briefings to the project implementation team.
• Stay updated on product technology and certifications.
• Conduct technology sharing sessions with peers.
