ExtraLearn – A Freelance Educational Marketplace by SiteSign, is seeking knowledgeable and passionate Online Social Science Tutors (Freelance) to provide quality learning support to students across different academic levels. This is a flexible, work-from-home opportunity for educators, social science experts, and professionals dedicated to helping learners develop a deeper understanding of society, history, geography, civics, economics, and related subjects while achieving academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online Social Science tutoring sessions for students of different grades, levels, and learning backgrounds.
• Teach fundamental and advanced concepts in History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, Economics, and other relevant social science topics based on the student’s curriculum and academic requirements.
• Develop personalized lesson plans according to students’ learning needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Explain social science concepts using engaging, practical, and interactive teaching methods, including real-life examples, discussions, and case studies.
• Assign worksheets, projects, assignments, assessments, and homework to monitor student progress.
• Evaluate students’ performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their understanding, critical thinking, and academic performance.
• Create an engaging, supportive, and student-centered virtual learning environment.
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication with students through the ExtraLearn platform.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Education, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of social science concepts and current societal developments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching abilities.
• Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, training, or online instruction will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards, or other educational tools.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods according to different learning styles.
• Relevant teaching certifications, advanced qualifications, or professional experience in Social Science education will be an added advantage.
