Job Title: District Pharmacy Manager
Role Summary
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for end-to-end pharmacy operations across multiple clinics. The role focuses on standardization, business growth, cost optimization, compliance, and team leadership, while ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient pharmacy performance across all units.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cluster Pharmacy Operations
- Oversee pharmacy operations across multiple clinics
- Standardize SOPs, processes, pricing, and service quality across locations
- Monitor performance (sales, stock, service levels) and drive improvements
2. Dispensing Governance & Patient Safety
- Ensure accurate dispensing practices across clinics
- Establish systems for prescription review, error prevention, and patient counseling
- Maintain high standards of patient care and experience
3. Inventory, Procurement & Vendor Management
- Lead centralized purchase planning and re-order strategies
- Manage vendor partnerships, negotiations, and cost optimization
- Monitor stock movement, expiry control, and inter-clinic stock balancing
- Ensure high availability with minimal wastage
4. Sales, Growth & Outreach
- Drive pharmacy revenue across clinics with ethical practices
- Design and implement local marketing, outreach programs, and lead generation initiatives
- Improve repeat customer base and prescription conversion rates
5. Financial & Cash Management
- Oversee billing, collections, and cash reconciliation across clinics
- Ensure financial discipline, leakage control, and profitability improvement
- Track revenue trends and optimize margins
6. Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements (Drug License, FDA norms, etc.)
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and processes across clinics
- Conduct periodic internal audits and corrective actions
7. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, train, and supervise pharmacists and support staff across clinics
- Build a high-performance, accountable team culture
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, productivity, and service standards
8. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with doctors, clinic managers, and central teams
- Ensure medicine availability aligned with treatment protocols
- Support overall clinic performance and patient outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm with valid license (mandatory)
- 5–8 years experience, including multi-unit or supervisory role preferred
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
