We're currently looking for an Employer Relationship Lead on a full time, permanent basis. This position sits within the Employer Relationships team. This role can be based in Mumbai, Bangalore or Delhi.

This role is a pivotal leadership position focused on cultivating and nurturing partnerships with employers across India. This role is integral to fostering employability relationships that align with the organisation's India strategy.

The Job

Reporting to the Head of Employer Relationships, on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:

  • Leads the creation and execution of the plan for the development of employer relationships in order to deliver agreed KPIs and targets and support the delivery of ACCA's strategy
  • Leads the identification and implementation of key opportunities within employers
  • Aligned to growth expectations and ACCA strategy, determines which employers should be prioritised both within the market and across borders
  • Owns, monitors and drives the achievement of key performance indicators and targets for the employer segment
  • Personally leads a number of key employer relationships, ensuring these are appropriately developed to deliver and exceed agreed KPIs and targets
  • Ensures that multi-level relationship plans are in place for existing and potential employer partners
  • Leads the business development community to ensure that global solutions and content are leveraged and consistently implemented
  • Leads the development of a community of employers to identify and communicate insights to help improve global value propositions and optimise growth opportunities
  • Works with colleagues from other specialist teams to make high value connections between partners and build the ACCA ecosystem across the market/cluster
  • Ensures employers are supported with ACCA processes including accreditation in order to develop engagement and improve performance
  • Represents ACCA at appropriate local and regional forums to raise the profile and brand impact of ACCA within the profession
  • Leads and inspires a community of business development professionals by role modelling the ACCA behaviours, sharing expertise and best practice, building engagement and supporting performance and development
  • Reports regularly on progress through the appropriate reporting mechanisms on agreed targets linked to the balanced scorecard.

The Person

We're looking for someone who:

  • Significant experience in business development and business-to-business selling, ideally in a professional services or education environment
  • Knowledge of sales, business development frameworks, processes and techniques
  • Understanding of accountancy and/or the professional education environment
  • Ability to lead and inspire a community of business development employees
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long term, high quality, trusted relationships up to and including board level
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent networker and prospector at all levels
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic with the ability to plan and organise work to meet stretching targets
  • Commercially orientated and results driven with a track record of successful delivery and an ability to identify new opportunities.
