Job Summary:
SUNMICRO Industries is looking for a skilled Assembly Technician (Mechanical Fitter) to assemble and install mechanical components for solar tracker structures. The candidate will work with bearings, shafts, actuators, and fabricated steel components in a fabrication workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, torque tubes, and actuator systems.
• Install pillow block bearings on support structures and ensure proper alignment.
• Fit and align shafts through multiple bearing supports.
• Install linear actuators and linkage arms for solar tracking systems.
• Perform mechanical testing of assembled components.
• Check alignment of rotating parts to ensure smooth operation.
• Work with welders and fabrication team during assembly operations.
• Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and alignment tools.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in the workshop.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of bearings, shafts, and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.
• Experience using tools such as spanners, drills, grinders, and measuring instruments.
• Understanding of mechanical alignment and fitting techniques.

Qualifications:

• ITI Fitter / Mechanical trade preferred.
• 2–5 years experience in fabrication workshop or mechanical assembly.

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month (depending on experience)
