Junior Architect

Role Summary

Inspiration is seeking a talented and motivated Architect for its Bangalore Office to support architectural design, visualization, technical development, and site coordination across a range of projects. The individual will primarily contribute to ongoing and upcoming residential and hospitality projects, while also supporting other architectural, urban design, and planning assignments undertaken by the organisation.

The Junior Architect will be responsible for developing design concepts into high-quality architectural deliverables, preparing presentations and visualizations, coordinating with consultants, supporting project documentation, and assisting with site execution and quality control. The role requires a strong design sensibility, proficiency in architectural visualization and 3D modelling, and practical understanding of construction and site processes.

1. Key Responsibilities

a. Architectural Design & Project Development

· Support the development of architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed design packages for residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.

· Translate project briefs into innovative and contextually appropriate design solutions.

· Prepare concept studies, design options, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and presentation materials.

· Contribute to design reviews and internal discussions to ensure alignment with project objectives and design standards.

· Assist in the preparation of design reports, presentations, and client submissions.

b. 3D Modelling, Visualization & Rendering

· Develop high-quality 3D models and visualizations to communicate design intent effectively.

· Prepare photorealistic renders, walkthroughs, and presentation graphics for client and stakeholder engagement.

· Produce conceptual and detailed architectural visualizations for project proposals, competitions, and ongoing assignments.

· Maintain consistency in graphic standards and visual quality across all project deliverables.

· Support preparation of marketing and communication materials where architectural visualization inputs are required.

c. Technical Documentation & Coordination

· Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings through various stages of design development.

· Collaborate with structural, MEP, landscape, and specialist consultants to ensure coordinated project documentation.

· Review consultant drawings and integrate multidisciplinary inputs into project documentation.

· Assist in preparing construction drawing packages and technical specifications.

· Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and project requirements.

d. Site Coordination & Construction Support

· Undertake periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and verify implementation of design intent.

· Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders during execution stages.

· Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups as required.

· Identify design and construction issues and support timely resolution.

· Prepare site observation reports and assist in documenting project progress.

2. Required Skills & Experience

Technical Competencies

· Minimum 5–6 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.

· Demonstrated experience in residential projects is essential.

· Experience in hospitality projects will be highly preferred.

· Strong design and conceptualisation skills with the ability to develop ideas into buildable solutions.

· Proficiency in:

o AutoCAD (mandatory)

o SketchUp / equivalent 3D modelling software

o D5 Render (mandatory)

o Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

· Working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows will be a strong advantage.

· Understanding of building construction systems, materials, and detailing.

· Familiarity with applicable building regulations and development control norms.

Design & Coordination Skills

· Strong architectural design, space planning, and detailing capabilities.

· Ability to prepare compelling visual presentations and communicate design intent effectively.

· Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary consultants and project stakeholders.

· Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously.

· Strong planning, organisation, and documentation skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
