Automobile Technician

We are looking for highly skilled, street-smart Automobile Technicians to take ownership of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and operational readiness across various regions in India. This is not your standard 9-to-5 workshop job. You will be operating independently in the field, acting as the first line of defense for vehicle health. We need proactive problem-solvers who can figure things out on the fly, source parts locally when needed, and ensure zero downtime. If you are a self-starter who treats your region’s fleet or vehicle network like your own business and thrives on getting things done without someone looking over your shoulder, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Diagnostics & Repair: Conduct on-site inspections, identify mechanical/electrical issues, and perform immediate troubleshooting and repairs to keep vehicles on the road.
• Preventative Maintenance: Proactively schedule and execute routine maintenance checks to prevent major breakdowns before they happen.
• Vendor & Garage Management: For heavy repairs that cannot be done on-site, identify and negotiate with local third-party garages. You will oversee their work, ensure quality, and keep costs lean.
• Scrappy Procurement: Independently source required spare parts, tools, and consumables from local markets efficiently, prioritizing both speed and cost-effectiveness.
• Quality Control & Testing: Perform rigorous post-repair test drives and final inspections to ensure all safety and performance standards are met perfectly.
• Digital Reporting: Maintain accurate, real-time logs of vehicle health, repair histories, and expenses using our internal tracking tools.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repair (experience with OEMs, multi-brand workshops, or mobile mechanic fleets is a big plus).
• Entrepreneurial Ownership: You don't freeze when you encounter a new problem. You are resourceful, quick on your feet, and will do whatever it takes to get the vehicle up and running.
• Technical Breadth: Strong foundational knowledge across engine systems, electricals, suspension, and braking systems (EV experience is a bonus).
• High Autonomy: Ability to manage your own schedule, prioritize urgent breakdowns, and operate with zero hand-holding.
• Mobility: Must hold a valid driver’s license and be highly comfortable with daily local travel within your designated region.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
