The company is seeking a high-performing Ecommerce and Marketing Manager to provide operational leadership to our ecommerce and marketing team. This is a pivotal role where you will be accountable for the performance of our online platforms, digital marketing functions, and the continuous optimization of systems that drive our online revenue.
As this is an offshore position, you will work closely with our Australian-based leadership team and must be available to work on an Australian (AEST/AEDT) schedule to ensure seamless collaboration with our Chief Operating Officer and internal stakeholders.
The Role
You will lead the operational management of our ecommerce platforms and marketplaces, ensuring stable operations, accurate product data, and effective pricing strategies. You will be responsible for evolving our platforms and systems to align with the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform & Commercial Performance: Own day-to-day operations, ensure accurate product listings/content standards, and govern bundle maintenance and merchandising.
- Pricing Governance: Oversee pricing analysis, maintain pricing rules and thresholds, and validate outputs to protect margins while remaining competitive.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee SEO, Paid Search, marketplace promotions, and email marketing while reviewing insights to improve conversion and revenue.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure the stability of ecommerce integrations and tools, overseeing the troubleshooting of software issues and maintaining technical documentation.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and support team members, allocating workload and monitoring capacity to ensure timely delivery of results.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and develop standardized SOPs and automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 5–8+ years in Ecommerce and Digital Marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity (Required).
- Marketplace Expertise: Proven success in managing online marketplaces and standalone ecommerce stores.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to monitor commercial KPIs and provide performance updates and insights to management.
- Technical Literacy: Experience with ecommerce applications, integrations, and automation tools.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drive accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a team.
