Product Designer

We are looking for a Product Designer who can turn ideas into compelling products and living spaces using our modular system and outdoor living range.

Role overview

You will design products and spatial concepts for modular homes and outdoor living environments, ensuring they are functional, comfortable, and aligned with our passive-house, modular construction ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concepts for interior layouts, outdoor living spaces, and product configurations using our framing system and modules.
• Design furniture, fixtures, and fitouts that integrate with Boca Chica outdoor products such as dining sets, sofas, daybeds, fire pits, planters, and outdoor kitchens.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for structures, products, and joinery using SketchUp, AutoCAD, Fusion360, SolidWorks and similar tools.
• Prepare presentation-ready concept boards, mood boards, and exploded diagrams to communicate design intent clearly to internal teams and clients.
• Translate technical constraints of our system (structural spans, panel types, insulation layers, services routing) into feasible design solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and fabrication teams to refine designs for manufacturability, installation, and on-site assembly.

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture, Furniture Design, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD; familiarity with layout tools (e.g., InDesign) for presentations.
• Ability to ideate and visualize concepts quickly through sketches, 3D massing, and digital mock-ups.
• Solid understanding of space planning for compact modular homes, outdoor lounges, dining areas, and hospitality-style settings.
• Good grasp of materials and construction basics: panels, insulation, membranes, structural frames, and fitout elements such as kitchens and bathrooms.
• Attention to detail in dimensioning, clear layer management, and file organization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

Preferred experience

• Experience designing modular homes, tiny houses, off-grid cabins, or prefabricated structures.
• Exposure to outdoor furniture or landscape-related products such as seating systems, planters, fire features, and outdoor kitchens.
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles and passive house concepts (thermal envelope, airtightness, high-performance windows).

Location and working mode

• Location: Greater Noida, India (On-Site).
• Full-time position with collaboration across design, engineering, and business teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
