SOC/NOC Manager or Director (MSP) – High Ownership Role

Hyderabad, India | Full-Time | Partial U.S. Overlap
Compensation: ₹12L+ per year

About the Role

We are building a SOC and NOC operation from scratch in Hyderabad.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a build and lead role.

You will:

• Define the structure
• Build the team
• Implement SOPs
• Own delivery and performance

If you have only worked in structured environments without building processes, this role is not for you.

What You Will Own

Build and Execution

• Design SOC/NOC structure, shifts, escalation paths
• Create SOPs, runbooks, incident response workflows
• Define SLAs, KPIs, and reporting standards
• Stand up monitoring, alerting, and response processes

Team Buildout

• Hire SOC Analysts and NOC Engineers
• Build and manage a 24/7 team structure
• Set accountability and performance standards

Operations

• Own incident response, escalation, and resolution
• Improve response time, alert quality, and uptime
• Ensure consistent service delivery across multiple clients

Client Communication

• Communicate directly with U.S.-based stakeholders
• Provide clear, structured reporting on incidents and risks
• Handle escalations without delays or confusion

Hard Requirements (Do Not Apply If Missing)

• Experience building or scaling a SOC or NOC team
• Experience in an MSP or multi-client environment
• Strong understanding of:
• SIEM, EDR, alerting tools
• Networking, firewalls, and infrastructure
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
• Strong spoken and written English for client communication

Disqualifiers

• Only worked as an individual contributor
• No experience in SOC/NOC environments
• No exposure to client-facing communication
• Background limited to internal IT with no multi-client delivery
• Unable to explain past incidents, escalations, or team structure clearly
