Full job description
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Indian dishes (curries, gravies, rice, breads) with consistency
- Handle tandoor section (roti, naan, kebabs, tikkas)
- Assist in basic continental/other preparations when required
- Ensure proper food plating and presentation
- Maintain hygiene and kitchen cleanliness as per standards
- Follow SOPs, portion control, and recipe standards
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation (FIFO)
- Support senior chefs during peak hours
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience as Commi II or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and tandoor operations
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
