Junior ERP Developer (Python / ERPNext / Odoo)

Job Summary

The Junior ERP Developer will assist in the development, customization, testing, and deployment of ERP solutions using Python-based frameworks such as ERPNext (Frappe) and Odoo. The role provides hands-on exposure to ERP application development, module customization, workflow automation, database management, and system integrations while working closely with technical and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities ERP Development & Customization

• Assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining ERPNext and Odoo modules based on business requirements.
• Support the implementation of new features, workflows, and enhancements within ERP applications.
• Customize forms, reports, dashboards, and business processes.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using Python and related technologies.
• Participate in integrations with third-party applications, APIs, and external systems.

Testing, Troubleshooting & Support

• Perform testing and validation of developed features before deployment.
• Identify, debug, and resolve application issues and system defects.
• Assist in providing technical support for implementation and post-go-live activities.
• Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.

Documentation & Continuous Learning

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment notes, and user guides.
• Document customization, configurations, and development activities.
• Stay updated on ERPNext, Odoo, Python, and related technologies.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and technical training initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming.
• Familiarity with ERP concepts and business processes.
• Exposure to ERPNext (Frappe) and/or Odoo is preferred.
• Basic understanding of PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and REST APIs is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
