Job Title: Assistant Workshop Manager– Service Department

Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager in the automobile service department is responsible for managing the front operations and managing the Service Advisor and ensuring a smooth and customer-focused experience. This role bridges communication between customers and the workshop, oversees appointment scheduling, and ensures timely updates on vehicle service status. The ideal candidate will be a people-oriented, organized, and proactive professional with strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers promptly and professionally at the service.
- Manage daily front operations, appointment bookings, and call handling.
- Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to provide accurate service timelines and updates to customers.
- Maintain service records and update customer profiles in the system.
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints effectively, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Monitor waiting areas to ensure comfort and cleanliness.
- Prepare and manage service department reports and customer feedback forms.
- Supervise and train front office staff (if applicable).
- Ensure all processes comply with company standards and policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Automobile .
- 3–5 years of experience in service role, preferably in the automobile industry.
- Prior experience in a Sr. Service Advisor
