Architect

Studio Andem – Kochi, Kerala

Studio Andem is a growing architecture and interior design practice based in Kochi, working on residential, commercial and hospitality projects. We are looking for a passionate Architect who can contribute creatively and technically across the design process.

Role Overview

The Architect will work closely with the design team to develop architectural concepts, prepare drawings, coordinate with consultants, and support project execution from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs and detailed design drawings
• Prepare presentation drawings, 3D views and design documentation
• Prepare working drawings, construction drawings and BOQs
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and other consultants
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress when required
• Assist in client meetings and design presentations
• Ensure designs comply with local building regulations and project requirements
• Collaborate with the interior design and project teams for integrated solutions

Required Skills

• Strong design sensibility and spatial thinking
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and presentation tools
• Knowledge of construction drawings and detailing
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
• 4+ years of professional experience in architecture/interior design practice
• Experience in residential or commercial projects preferred
