JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist with a strong background in Clinical Psychology to work with children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and other developmental disorders. The ideal candidate will hold an MSc in Clinical Psychology or Applied Psychology and possess at least three months of practical experience in a paediatric centre. This role focuses on assessing and addressing behavioural challenges, implementing evidence-based interventions, and working closely with families to support positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for children with developmental disorders.
  • Work one-on-one with children to address specific behaviors and promote positive behavior change.
  • Provide parent training and guidance on behavioral strategies to be implemented at home.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, speech therapist and special educators, to deliver a comprehensive treatment plan.
  • Document progress, maintain detailed case notes, and update behavior plans as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and case reviews to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Requirements:
Qualification:
MSc in Clinical Psychology / Applied Psychology

Experience: Minimum 6 months internship in a child paediatric centre, focusing on behavioural interventions for Autism, ADHD, or developmental disorders (Required)

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of behavioural psychology and intervention strategies.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to track and assess progress through data collection and analysis.
  • Problem-solving skills to adapt interventions based on the child’s progress and needs.
  • Empathy, patience, and resilience in working with challenging behaviours.
