5. Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious and analytical Entry-Level Data Scientist to join our growing data and analytics team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to launch a career by applying foundational knowledge in statistics, computer science, and machine learning to real-world business challenges.

6. Key Responsibilities

· Data Wrangling & Preparation: Collect, clean, and preprocess large, complex datasets (both structured and unstructured) to ensure data quality and integrity for analysis.

· Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct initial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies using statistical techniques and data visualization tools.

· Model Development: Assist in the design, development, and validation of statistical models and basic machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification) to address specific business problems.

· Collaboration: Work closely with senior Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate business questions into analytical frameworks.

· Reporting & Communication: Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Tool & Skill Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques, tools, and best practices, proactively seeking opportunities for skill enhancement.

· Model Deployment Support: Assist in the testing and preliminary deployment of models into a production environment under supervision.

7. Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.

· Knowledge of Python/R for data analysis and machine learning.

· Familiarity with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

· Understanding of SQL and database querying.

· Basic knowledge of statistics, probability, and data visualization.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
