Job Description – ICT (Information & Communication Technology) Teacher

Board: ICSE
Grades: Middle School (Classes VI–IX)

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified ICT Teacher for Middle School who can deliver engaging and practical computer education aligned with ICSE standards. The candidate should be able to introduce students to coding, digital literacy, internet safety, and modern technology tools through interactive and activity-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach ICT / Computer Science subjects for middle school students as per ICSE curriculum
  • Introduce and train students in:
  • Java Programming basics
  • HTML and basic web designing
  • Scratch/Python fundamentals
  • MS Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Digital literacy and cyber safety
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments
  • Conduct practical computer lab sessions and project-based learning activities
  • Integrate smart classroom tools and ICT-enabled teaching methodologies
  • Encourage creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
  • Participate in school activities, events, and parent interactions when required

Qualification Required

  • Graduate/Post Graduate in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Computer Applications
  • (BCA, B.Sc. CS, B.Tech, BE, MCA, M.Sc. CS or equivalent)
  • B.Ed. Mandatory / Preferred
  • Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in ICSE/CBSE schools preferred
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Java Programming
  • HTML
  • Coding fundamentals
  • MS Office & Google Workspace
  • ICT-based learning tools
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skillsSkills Required
  • Strong subject knowledge and practical coding skills
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts for middle school students
  • Good spoken and written English communication
  • Creative and student-friendly teaching approach
  • Strong organizational and classroom management abilities

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹41,000.00 per month
