Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with 2–3 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, along with the ability to translate business requirements into meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to generate actionable business insights
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI (or Tableau)
  • Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Translate business requirements into analytical models, KPIs, and data visualizations
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to define data pipelines, data models, and data availability
  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver self-service analytics solutions
  • Document datasets, dashboards, and business logic for reusability and governance

Required (Mandatory) Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, performance optimization etc.)
  • Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, complex formulas)
  • Solid understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and profiling techniques
  • Basic to intermediate Python for data analysis and automation
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension models, star schema)
  • Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills for stakeholder interaction

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Power Query, dbt)
  • Exposure to any cloud data platforms:
  • Azure (Synapse, Data Lake, Fabric)
  • AWS (Redshift, S3)
  • GCP (BigQuery)
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Understanding of data modeling best practices and semantic layer design
  • Basic knowledge of statistics (regression, hypothesis testing)
  • Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of Power BI Service (workspace management, data refresh, RLS, deployment pipelines)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field or MCA
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics
