Full job description

  • Prepare operation theatre prior to surgeries
  • Ensure all surgical instruments are sterilized and arranged as per procedure
  • Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses during operations
  • Check and maintain OT equipment (anesthesia machine, monitors, suction, cautery, OT lights, etc.)
  • Maintain sterile environment inside OT
  • Handle surgical instruments carefully during procedures
  • Ensure proper biomedical waste disposal as per hospital policy
  • Maintain OT records and documentation
  • Shift patients safely to and from the OT
  • Follow infection control and safety guidelines
