Garment Quality Controller

Job Description :

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct inline and end-line quality inspections during garment production.
• Check garments for stitching quality, measurements, workmanship, shade variation, stains, and finishing defects.
• Inspect fabrics, trims, and accessories before production usage.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with buyer and company quality standards.
• Identify defects and coordinate with production teams for immediate corrective actions.
• Maintain quality reports, inspection records, and defect analysis reports.
• Perform random audits during cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing stages.
• Ensure packed garments meet packing and labeling standards.
• Support implementation of quality improvement activities on the production floor.
• Follow AQL standards and buyer quality requirements wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with merchandisers, production supervisors, and finishing teams for quality-related issues.
• Reduce rejection, rework, and alteration percentages through continuous monitoring.
