Role Overview

As an Insights Sales Intern, you will work closely with the founders and business team to identify market trends, generate qualified leads, analyze customer needs, and support sales initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to startup growth, business development, customer research, and strategic sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels including LinkedIn, email outreach, and online research.
  • Analyze customer profiles, industry trends, and buying behavior to support sales strategies.
  • Assist in building and maintaining prospect databases and CRM records.
  • Support outbound sales campaigns and follow up with potential customers.
  • Prepare market insight reports, sales presentations, and business proposals.
  • Collaborate with founders and sales teams to identify growth opportunities.
  • Track sales metrics and provide actionable recommendations based on data.
  • Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to improve business strategies.

Who We're Looking For

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Analytics, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Comfortable working with data and turning insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets and presentation tools.

Bonus Points

  • Prior internship experience in sales, business development, or market research.
  • Experience using CRM tools
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn prospecting and lead generation techniques.
