DevsLane is looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in production-grade projects and end-to-end quality assurance ownership. The ideal candidate should have independently handled QA responsibilities for live products, collaborated closely with development teams, and ensured smooth delivery across releases.

Job Responsibilities

Lead QA activities for production-grade web applications from requirement analysis to release sign-off.
Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
Perform manual testing across functional, integration, regression, and UAT flows.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and release cycles.
Validate APIs, database flows, and backend integrations where required.
Coordinate with overseas clients/stakeholders and provide clear QA updates and reports.
Ensure product quality, usability, and performance across environments.

Must Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 4+ years of hands-on QA experience on production/live projects.
Strong ownership mindset and willingness to learn, especially in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong experience in manual testing for web applications.
Experience independently owning QA responsibilities for projects/modules.
Strong understanding of test case design, defect lifecycle, and regression planning.
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and release cycles.
Hands-on exposure to PostgreSQL for data validation and testing.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
Hands-on experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Pivotal Tracker, Trello, or similar platforms.
Basic API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Good to Have

Experience testing mobile applications.
Exposure to automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar..
Experience handling communication with overseas/international clients is preferred.

Compensation Range:

INR 8-12 LPA (Exceptions possible for outstanding candidates)

Monday to Friday with US Client Overlap
