Full job description
We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Intern/ Bakery chef to join our team at Baimudan.
Our concept emphasizes mindful baking, offering a range of gluten-free and vegan options alongside classic treats.
Need a Bread Chef
- Preparation and baking of sourdough, artisan breads, and other bakery products as per café standards.
- Maintaining dough fermentation, starter feeding, proofing, shaping, and baking schedules.
- Ensuring consistency in taste, texture, quality, and presentation of all breads.
- Monitoring ingredient stock and informing management about shortages in advance.
- Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen and bakery section.
- Proper handling and maintenance of baking equipment and tools.
- Following daily production targets and minimizing wastage.
- Coordinating with the kitchen and service team for smooth operations.
- Maintaining discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct during shifts.
- Innovating and suggesting improvements for bread recipes and seasonal specials.
