Full job description
Function: Operations, Lord’s Renal | Reports To: Head of Operations | Span: 3–4 dialysis centres | sExperience: 4-5 years in healthcare operations (min. 3 years multi-site)
Role Purpose
The Centre Manager is the sole point of accountability for the end-to-end performance of 3–4 Lord’s Renal dialysis centres in the assigned cluster. The role carries full ownership of operations, clinical quality, revenue, growth, inventory, people, and compliance across every centre under span. This is a hands-on, outcome-led role — the incumbent is expected to run the centres, not merely coordinate them.
Key Responsibilities
- Centre Operations: Own daily operations across all centres — shift scheduling, machine uptime, SOP adherence, RO water plant operation, patient flow, waste management, and first-level escalation for any operational exception.
- Clinical Service Quality: Ensure strict protocol adherence, infection-prevention bundles, dialysis adequacy (Kt/V) and patient experience. Partner with visiting Nephrologists and RMO to close clinical gaps; own patient grievance resolution.
- Revenue Management & Growth: Carry P&L-style accountability for every centre — daily collections, scheme mix (MAA Yojana / PMJAY / TPA / cash), collection efficiency, receivables follow-up, and scheme/insurance reconciliation. Drive patient onboarding and build referral relationships with local nephrologists, GPs and hospitals. Lead community outreach, patient camps and local marketing to grow catchment.
- Inventory & Supply Chain: Ensure minimum buffer stock of all consumables (dialysers, blood tubing, HD solutions, needles, heparin) across every centre. Control consumption, wastage and expiry write-offs. Track dialyser reprocessing with full traceability. Manage vendors, maintain asset register, coordinate preventive maintenance.
- People Management: Own staffing, rostering, leave planning, performance reviews, training, attrition and discipline across technicians, nurses, front-office and housekeeping at every centre. Zero-disruption shift coverage is non-negotiable.
- Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all centre licences are current — Nursing Home registration, Pollution Control Board clearance, Bio-Medical Waste authorisation, Pharmacy/Drug Licence, Fire NOC. Maintain patient records per retention norms. Coordinate audits and inspections.
- Technology & Reporting: Drive 100% adoption of RenalOS across every centre. Work with the Central Command Centre on exception escalations. Submit weekly and monthly MIS covering operations, clinical, revenue, inventory and people metrics.
Candidate Profile
- Qualifications: Graduate (Life Sciences / Allied Health / Nursing / Biomedical preferred); MHA / MBA (Healthcare or Operations) strongly preferred.
- Experience: 6–10 years in healthcare operations (dialysis chain / multi-speciality hospital / managed healthcare). Minimum 3 years in a multi-site or cluster role with centre-level P&L or revenue ownership.
- Skillset required: Operations orchestration across multiple sites, ownership mindset, commercial acumen, people leadership, compliance discipline, data fluency (MIS, Excel, RenalOS), stakeholder management with host hospitals and clinicians.
- Travel: Extensively travelling willingness required within and out of Gujarat for office work.
Pay: ₹25,000.56 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
