Junior Node js developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high performance APIs using Node.js
• Build backend services to support core business operations and application features
• Design and manage database structures using MongoDB and MySQL
• Write optimized queries and improve database performance
• Integrate third party APIs and external services when required
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to ensure smooth system integration
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable server side code
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot backend applications to ensure reliability and stability
• Monitor application performance and optimize systems for speed and scalability
• Provide technical support and resolve backend related issues efficiently
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation
• Bonus: Work on socket based real time features such as chat, live updates, and notifications

Requirements

• Strong experience with JavaScript and Node.js
• Hands on experience with frameworks like Express.js or NestJS
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and backend architecture
• Experience working with MongoDB and MySQL databases
• Knowledge of schema design, query optimization, and database relationships
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming and event driven architecture
• Experience integrating third party APIs and services
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
• Strong debugging and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WebSockets or Socket.IO
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, deployment, and server management
• Understanding of authentication systems such as JWT and OAuth
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
