About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Technical Architect to lead the design and evolution of our CarCred platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in scalable system design, cloud-native architecture, and secure application development while ensuring compliance with global standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, CISA, and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Define and implement scalable, resilient, and secure system architectures for CarCred products.
• Lead end-to-end architecture across backend (PHP, Node.js), frontend (React.js), and mobile platforms (React Native for iOS & Android).
• Design microservices-based and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems.

Cloud & DevOps

• Architect and manage solutions on Azure App Services and related Azure ecosystem.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Define and enforce best practices for release management and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for infrastructure as code (IaC) and environment management.

Data & Security

• Design secure data architectures using MySQL and other data stores.
• Ensure strong data protection, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
• Implement and monitor audit logging and traceability systems.
• Ensure compliance with:
• ISO 27001
• SOC 2
• CISA guidelines
• DPDP Act (India)

Application & Platform Development

• Provide architectural guidance for:
• Backend services (PHP, Node.js)
• Frontend (React.js)
• Mobile apps (React Native)
• Drive adoption of coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Review and approve technical designs and code for critical components.

Advanced Systems & Intelligence

• Design and integrate Machine Learning models into business workflows.
• Architect and optimize Business Rules Engine (BRE) evaluation systems.
• Enable real-time and batch processing systems for financial data.

Governance & Documentation

• Maintain high-quality architecture and system documentation.
• Define architecture governance frameworks and review boards.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in:
• PHP, Node.js
• React.js, React Native
• Deep understanding of:
• Microservices architecture
• RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Cloud (App Services, monitoring, networking)
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• MySQL and database optimization
• Expertise in:
• Application security
• Data privacy and protection
• Audit logging and monitoring systems

Domain Expertise

• Experience in FinTech / BFSI domain is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks:
• ISO 27001
• SOC 2
• DPDP Act
• Security audits and controls

Other Competencies

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business needs.

Good to Have

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to distributed systems and high-throughput platforms.
• Knowledge of API gateways and service meshes.
• Experience with observability tools (logging, tracing, monitoring).
• Certifications in cloud (Azure), security, or architecture.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
