Essential Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of experience software testing
- Expert knowledge of writing and executing test cases based on business requirements
- Exposure to bug reporting tools like JIRA
- Good knowledge of software testing life cycle
- Extensive acquaintance of software testing tools
- Experience with both automated & manual testing processes
- Knowledge of SQL scripting and end to end testing
- Experience with Usability, GUI, Functional, System, Regression and Smoke/Sanity testing.
- Testing experience on web and mobile applications is preferred
- Perform API testing for backend services and integrations
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create test plans and test cases validating application requirements
- Design, document and execute test cases, record, document and analyze test results
- Identify, confirm, report and manage defects through resolution
- Conduct test case reviews to ensure requirement coverage
- Perform functional, installation and performance testing
- Create and execute manual test plans and test cases for assigned components/features
- Report test status to Department and Project Management
- Contribute to QA team process improvement.
