Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Quality Control Engineer to ensure that fabrication and manufacturing processes comply with company standards, customer specifications, and applicable quality codes. The candidate will be responsible for inspection activities, documentation, quality monitoring, and coordination with production teams to maintain product quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Inspection
- Perform inspection of raw materials, in-process fabrication, and finished products.
- Conduct dimensional inspection as per drawings and specifications.
- Monitor welding quality and fabrication activities on shop floor.
- Ensure compliance with approved procedures, standards, and codes.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and test certificates.
- Review fabrication drawings, WPS/PQR, and quality documents.
- Maintain calibration records for measuring instruments.
- Generate NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow corrective actions.
Process Monitoring
- Monitor production processes to identify quality issues.
- Coordinate with production team for corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure adherence to ISO and customer quality requirements.
- Conduct stage-wise inspections during fabrication and assembly.
Testing & Verification
- Coordinate NDT activities such as UT, RT, PT, and MT.
- Verify welding parameters and welder qualifications.
- Ensure testing and inspection activities are completed as per quality plans.
Customer & Audit Support
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Handle customer inspections and third-party inspections.
- Support implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–8 years of experience in fabrication/manufacturing quality control.
- Knowledge of fabrication drawings, welding inspection, and quality standards.

Salary
