Purchase Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement for our OEM manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in purchasing Stainless Steel items, Refrigeration components, sheet metal parts, electricals, and mechanical consumables, along with hands-on ERP/Tally knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Major Job is to Negotoate Prices.
• Manage the entire purchase cycle from requisition, RFQ, negotiation, and PO generation to material delivery and issuance.
• Source and develop reliable vendors for Stainless Steel materials, refrigeration parts, fabrication items, and OEM components.
• Ensure timely procurement based on production planning and inventory levels.
• Compare quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate closely with production, stores, and quality teams to ensure material accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and update purchase records in ERP/Tally including GRN, PO tracking, inward material checks, and costing.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and quality issues; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Optimize purchase costs through strategic sourcing and vendor development.
• Ensure proper documentation, follow-ups, and adherence to company SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of purchase experience in an OEM / manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Stainless Steel grades, sheet metal, and refrigeration components.
• Must be proficient in ERP or Tally for purchase and inventory operations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
• Good understanding of BOM, production planning, and material flow.
• Ability to handle multiple purchases with accuracy and time management.
• Handle a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
