Digital Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to join CultClicks. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social media marketing, content planning, branding, and SEO. The intern will work closely with the marketing team to support content creation, social media management, website SEO, and Google Business Profile optimization for multiple brands and clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Planning & Calendar Management

• Create monthly social media content calendars for clients across various industries
• Plan engaging content ideas including posts, reels, carousels, stories, and promotional campaigns
• Coordinate with designers and content writers to ensure timely execution
• Research trending topics, hashtags, audio trends, and competitor content
• Maintain posting schedules for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms

2. Social Media Posting & Management

• Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools
• Write captions, hashtags, and basic copy for posts and reels
• Monitor engagement including comments, messages, shares, and insights
• Assist in improving audience engagement and page growth
• Support basic community management activities
• Track performance metrics and prepare monthly reports

3. Website SEO Activities

• Assist in on-page SEO optimization for client websites
• Optimize website pages with proper keywords, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and image alt tags
• Conduct keyword research for blogs, service pages, and landing pages
• Support blog publishing and SEO formatting
• Monitor website SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Help identify technical SEO improvements and content opportunities

4. Google Business Profile (Google My Business) Management

• Optimize and regularly update Google Business Profiles for clients
• Upload business posts, offers, updates, images, and service information
• Assist in keyword optimization for local SEO visibility
• Monitor profile performance and insights
• Support review management and response coordination
• Ensure business information remains accurate and updated

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts
• Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube platforms
• Familiarity with Canva or basic design tools is a plus
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals and keyword research
• Strong communication and content planning skills
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Creative thinking and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or related field
• Prior internship or freelance experience in social media or digital marketing is an added advantage
