Python Developer — Mohali

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our team in Mohali. You will build and maintain web applications and APIs using Python and Django, working closely with frontend developers to deliver reliable backend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend features and business logic using Python and Django
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web applications
• Integrate backend services with frontend interfaces
• Design and manage database schemas using PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Debug issues and maintain existing codebases
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Python development
• Hands-on experience with Django framework
• Familiarity with Django REST Framework
• Good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Familiarity with REST API design and development
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and containerized development
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows
