Job Title: Social Media Manager (PR / Media Background Required)

Location: Bilekahalli, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore (Near BTM Layout & JP Nagar – Vega City Mall)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month
Experience: 6 months – 2 years

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager with a strong foundation in Public Relations or Media. The ideal candidate will be skilled at storytelling, brand positioning, and managing digital communication in alignment with PR strategies. You will play a key role in building brand presence, managing reputation, and driving engagement across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing and PR objectives
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, etc.)
• Collaborate with PR and media teams to amplify press coverage, campaigns, and announcements
• Monitor trends, news cycles, and audience sentiment for timely and relevant content
• Manage brand reputation, including responding to comments, messages, and handling sensitive communication
• Track, analyze, and report performance metrics to optimize campaigns
• Build and maintain relationships with influencers, media professionals, and brand advocates
• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, design, and content) for consistent messaging

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, or a related field
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in social media management
• Background or experience in Public Relations, Media, or Communications (mandatory/preferred)
• Strong understanding of storytelling, media relations, and brand positioning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with social media tools, analytics, and scheduling platforms
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with PR agencies or media houses
• Understanding of crisis communication and reputation management
• Knowledge of influencer marketing and paid social campaigns
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
